AppearanceAnxiety.com provides a clinical assessment platform for screening appearance anxiety in aesthetic settings. The Service includes:

• The Appearance Anxiety Questionnaire (AAQ) assessment instruments
• Automated scoring and triage recommendations
• Patient record management
• Clinical reporting tools

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must:

• Be a qualified healthcare professional or work under the supervision of one
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access

4. Clinical Use and Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: The Service is a clinical decision support tool, not a diagnostic instrument.

• Assessment results and triage recommendations are advisory only
• Clinical judgement must always be exercised by qualified professionals
• The Service does not replace professional psychological assessment or diagnosis
• We do not provide medical advice or treatment recommendations
• Clinicians remain responsible for all treatment decisions

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Share account credentials with unauthorised parties
• Attempt to access data belonging to other clinics
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Reverse engineer or copy the assessment instruments
• Use the Service to store directly identifying patient information

6. Data Protection

You acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for obtaining appropriate patient consent
• Patient data should be de-identified before entry
• You will comply with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, etc.)
• Our Privacy Policy governs how we process data

7. Intellectual Property

The AAQ instruments, scoring algorithms, software, and all associated materials are proprietary. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use these materials solely for clinical assessment purposes in accordance with your subscription.

8. Subscription and Payment

• Fees are charged according to your selected plan
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• Refunds are provided in accordance with applicable consumer law
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any clinical decisions made using the Service
• Our liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• We will provide data export options upon request
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
